WHAT IS IT
Mauritius has one of the most generous Rebate Schemes in the world, granting up to 40% on qualified production expenditure (QPE). This includes Film, Scripted and Unscripted TV and Commercials.
QPE incurred in Mauritius includes travel to Mauritius, accommodation, rental of production equipment, professional services, production company fees, post-production services, labour cost, rental of local film equipment and all above the line costs.
SUBMISSION
We work closely with the producer from evaluating the project to submitting all documentation and following all the protocols through to final audit. We work closely with the EDB throughout the process to ensure a smooth operation and maximizing the percentages awarded through the Mauritian Film Rebate.
FINANCING
We can arrange the cash-flowing of the rebate at competitive rates and in select cases can also provide gap finance, and cashflow of international pre-sales and minimum guarantees.
